South Mountain Clean & Beautiful
On Saturday February 13th. 2010 the South Mountain Village Clean & Beautiful organization, along with Maricopa County Probation Department, the Wake Up Kids and students from Phoenix Collegiate Academy joined forces and cleaned up the Cash School area in Laveen. We had about 130 volunteers and filled three industrial dumpsters with trash and one with tires. Thanks also to Ironco Inc. with their heavy equipment and the City of Phoenix. We want to thank Superintendent Mary Rose Wilcox for her continued support in our efforts to clean up our neighborhoods. With all the great partners we have, we continue to fulfill our mission. “Have you picked yours today”.
